Grief Seminars

Morris-Baker Funeral Home and Cremation Services is pleased to present a series of grief seminars with William G. Hoy on April 20 and 21, 2015 at the Holiday Inn in Johnson City, TN.

William G. (Bill) Hoy has counseled with people in grief for nearly 30 years. and holds clinical faculty appointment in Medical Humanities at Baylor University.

Bill Hoy will discuss strategies for helping people manage grief and discuss tools for caring for bereaved people when grief becomes complicated.

These seminars are free and open to the public, even if Morris-Baker has not had the privilege of serving your family in the past.

Monday, April 20 - 1 PM to 3 PM For Educators - When Complicated Grief Invades the Campus: Discover the best strategies for working with children and teens who have suffered a loss.

Monday, April 20 - 6:45 PM - 9 PM For the General Public - Understanding Your Ongoing Grief: Learn what the best strategies are for managing your grief.

Tuesday, April 21 - For Professional Caregivers.  When Grief Goes Awry: Dealing With Complicated Mourning:  This workshop will help clinicians and others hone skills in caring for bereaved people when grief becomes complicated.
